The STYLE iQ AirWave is perfect for creating long-lasting beach waves on straight or wavy hair. Simply attach this Intelligent Styler to your Shark STYLE iQ Hair Dryer and use as instructed to shape and dry your hair into gentle waves.
This attachment is best for straight and wavy hair. For curly hair types, we recommend smoothing and drying with the Style Brush before styling. Avoid using the AirWave on flat-ironed hair.
This Intelligent Styler creates loose beach waves, perfect for an effortlessly stylish, tousled look. You can control the direction of the waves using a simple lever on the attachment.
There is a twist ring on the accessory that spins left or right; change this position to change the direction of the curl.
When you use the AirWave, make sure you are starting with nearly dry hair (about 80–90% dry).
A few recommendations to make your style last:
1. We recommend using a light mousse before drying the hair as well as a holding spray once you take the hair out of the AirWave.
2. When you put hair into the tool, tip the AirWave upside down for best results.
3. Before pulling hair out of the tool, hold Cool Shot for about 10 seconds.
4. Before running fingers through the curl, allow the curl to cool completely and finish with a holding spray.
Before you start using the AirWave, make sure that your hair is nearly dry and focus on getting the roots fully dry and smooth.
Depending on hair type, your hair may come out of the tool in a ringlet. Before breaking up the curl, we recommend using a holding spray, and once the hair is fully cooled and sprayed, raking your fingers through the ringlet to break it up into a wave.
